Founded in Maryland in 2009, BQMI emerged with a core commitment to prioritize customer satisfaction and employee well-being. Pura Stalnaker, the driving force behind the company, built a base of operations to allow her to pursue active contracts. In 2013, BQMI secured its initial subcontract with NASA, and by 2016, BQMI achieved its first prime contract with the NASA Safety Center.
In 2020, BQMI formed a joint venture with Peerless Technologies and won a contract with a potential worth of $259M. Expanding its footprint, BQMI operates across 11 states and eight Federal Government locations, including a flagship contract with the US Navy in Crane, IN. Today, BQMI is headquartered in Friendswood, TX, and has a regional office in Fairview Park, OH. Our mission continues to prioritize our customers, and outstanding family of employees.
